Raised in Saint Paul’s historic Rondo neighborhood, Lt. Sunnie is a powerhouse in the Midwest music scene and a national touring artist with more than a decade of experience. She has headlined major events across the region, delivered charged-up halftime performances, completed a milestone 10-stop tour, and brought her commanding vocals to some of the nation’s biggest stages with an 11-piece band. Celebrated for her acclaimed EP releases Big Feelings and Who She Think She Is?!. A multidisciplinary artist, she brings rap and movement art together in performances marked by honesty, skills, and heartfelt storytelling.

A vibrant artist and mental health advocate, Lt. Sunnie believes in self-preservation within community, body positivity, self-confidence, perseverance, and fierce individuality. She encourages people to express themselves boldly, whatever they look like, who they are, or where they come from - especially while navigating the challenges of pursuing their dreams. LT loves improv, musical theater, dance, and art-centered spaces that bring intergenerational and diverse communities together. LT is on a mission to use all her gifts as fully as she can, so that when her time comes, she has no regrets!
